Myton Automotive is based in Royal Leamington Spa in the United Kingdom.
Leamington Spa is where Jaguar’s main training facility is based, between their head offices in Gaydon and the company’s main West Midlands assembly plants at Solihull, Coventry, Wolverhampton and Birmingham.
In fact Jaguar’s main parts distribution centre is at Baginton, Coventry which is only about 7 miles away from where we are based.
All genuine parts normally take one working day to sort and then dispatch from our facility at Leamington. We are also close to three major UK airports, so it’s not unusual for an order to be picked, packed and on a flight to its destination by 8pm in the evening!
Ok so I bet you are saying to yourself - I get it, you can source genuine Jaguar parts for me FAST! But what about the stuff that Jaguar no longer makes or charges WAY too much for?
Well this is where our location helps again…
The cities of Birmingham and Coventry have been, since the final years of the 19th Century, at the heart of the British motor industry. Incidentally the first car ever built in Britain was in Coventry!
The British motor industry is well known for premium and sports car marques including Aston Martin, Bentley, Daimler, Jaguar, Lagonda, Land Rover, Lotus, McLaren, MG, Mini, Morgan and Rolls-Royce. However volume manufacturers such as Honda, Nissan, Toyota and Vauxhall Motors (Opel) also have a major presence in the UK. As of 2015 the UK's vehicle manufacturing output is second to only to Germany in Europe.
Because of this there are a huge amount of subsidiary companies making parts for the main vehicle manufacturers in the region. This means we are often able to find out who supplies Jaguar and Land Rover and source the parts direct from the parts manufacturer, passing on the savings to you!
For example the clutch company AP RAICAM are based in the same town as us (and make the factory fitted clutches for modern Land Rover models including the Evoque). First Line / Borg & Beck’s (a suspension and filter manufacturer) headquarters are located in Banbury, 20 miles away from where we are based. There are too many examples to list – but you get the picture!
